2024 Nissan Pathfinder Announced, Ready for Adventure and Exploring
Just this month, Nissan announced the updates and pricing of the 2024 Pathfinder. The Pathfinder has been a rugged stable in Nissan’s lineup since 1985, and the SUV received a big update in 2021.

Power for the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder
The SUV has five trims, S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum. The 2024 Pathfinder now has a 9-speed automatic transmission instead of the CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission) and a 3.5-liter direct-injection V6 engine. And the fuel economy ranges from 21 to 27 miles, and the SUV’s Idle Stop and Start will help save fuel by temporarily shutting off the engine while standing still.
Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist is come standard on the Pathfinder’s SV, SL, and Platinum trims. ProPILOT Assist is a combination of Nissan’s Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist technology, helping drivers with steering, braking, and accelerating on the highway. ProPILOT Assist also adjusts the vehicle’s speed before large curves and exits.
The Pathfinder is well known for being an exploring all-terrain vehicle and towing powerhouse. The S, SV, and SL trims can tow up to 3,500 lbs, while the Platinum and Rock Creek can tow up to 6,000 lbs.
Platinum Features that Inspire Comfort and Luxury
The Platinum grade includes 20-inch alloy wheels, a premium leather steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, chrome side sills, leather-appointed seating with quilted inserts, and more. The – also includes a panoramic moonroof, climate-controlled front seats, and more.
The Platinum trim also includes tech like a 12.3-inch meter display, 13 Bose Preieum speakers, a motion-activated liftgate, and a 120-Volt outlet.
Safety Features and Technology
The Nissan Pathfinder once again comes stacked with safety features such as Nissan Safety Shield 360, an Intelligent Around View Monitor, and the optional Intelligent 4WD. This feature has a Drive and Terrain Mode switch that helps switch between the seven modes depending on the situation: Standard, Sport, Eco, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Tow.
The Pathfinder comes with multiple options for the digital dashboard and head-up display. The Pathfinder has four standard USB ports and up to six on the Platinum trim. The Platinum trim also adds a wireless device charger in the front seats.
The SUV comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, while the SL and Platinum add wireless Apple CarPlay.
The 2024 Pathfinder is spacious and can fit eight people or seven with the optional second-row captain’s chair. The SUV has 16.6 cubic feet of storage, and with the seats folded down, the SUV has 80.5 cubic feet of space. The SV and SL trim comes with a power liftgate, while the Platinum trim has a motion-activated liftgate.
