The 2027 models are about to hit the lot, too, and the new 2027 Z line will blow your socks off! The 2027 Z line consists of three different trims: The Z Sport, Z Performance, and Z NISMO. All three have some impressive features, but each has its own particular niche. Let’s take a look at what they have to offer.

2027 Nissan Z Sport

2027 Nissan Z Sport The Z Sport is the base trim of the Z line, considered ideal for daily commuting and casual day trips. With its 3.0L 400hp Twin-Turbo V6, it makes both highways and mountain canyon roads a pleasure to navigate.

Depending upon your taste, you can choose either the 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters or the 6-speed manual transmission with the heavy-duty EXEDY® clutch and carbon-fiber driveshaft to deliver that horsepower to the rear-end drive axle.

It has Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires mounted on 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and 2-piston front/1-piston rear brakes on a standard sport suspension.

For safety, it employs Nissan’s Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

On the comfort side of things, the Z Sport has manually adjusted cloth seats, manual handbrake, and a 4-spoke leather steering wheel.

To make this vehicle a real attention-grabber, you can opt for the Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic paintjob, which includes the Super Black 2-tone roof.

And two new features which are included in all three trims are a new front grille profile, with a more tapered look – along with a modified rear panel – and a new fuel tank design, with specialized baffling, to stop fuel starvation during high-speed cornering.

As an added touch, Nissan has replaced its logo on the hood with a stylized “Z”.

The EPA estimated gas mileage for the 2027 Nissan Z Sport is 19 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 22 mpg combined, with the automatic transmission or 18 mpg city / 24 mpg highway / 20 mpg combined, with the manual option.

Nissan has recently announced that the MSRP for the Z line will be starting at $44,480.

2027 Nissan Z Performance

2027 Nissan Z Performance The Z Performance is next in the lineup, and as its name implies, it is performance-oriented. It includes a number of premium technical upgrades, as well as some nice driver-assist features. And it definitely lives up to its name!

The Z Performance trim comes with the same engine as the Z Sport, but aside from the exterior appearance, that’s where the similarity ends. Let’s examine what the Z Performance brings to the table.

As already stated, it is driven by the same 3.0L 400hp/350 lb-ft of torque Twin-Turbo V6 engine. Add to that its limited-slip differential (LSD), larger diameter monotube shock absorbers, and with the manual transmission, SynchroRev Match.

Nissan redesigned their 19-inch RAYS® forged aluminum-alloy wheels and mounted Bridgestone Potenza S007 performance tires on them.
On the interior, you’ll find heated power-adjustable seats, aluminum sport pedals, and leather-appointed seating with synthetic suede inserts, available in a new tan upholstery wrap.
For driver assistance and comfort, the Z Performance has a larger 9-inch touchscreen with integrated Navigation, 8-speaker Bose® Premium Audio system, active Noise Cancellation and Sound enhancement, as well as a cooled, magnetized 15-watt wireless device charger. It’s topped off with Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Amazon Alexa integration, and NissanConnect Services with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Just as with the Z Sport, you also have the option of the Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic paintjob with the black roof.

2027 Nissan Z NISMO

2027 Nissan Z NISMO Now we arrive at the Z NISMO, the pinnacle of performance. It’s intended for those who intend to visit the track regularly.

Nissan applied NISMO tuning to the same 3.0L V6, extracting another 20hp and 34 lb-ft of torque. The transmission options remain the same – manual 6-speed or NISMO-tuned 9-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
They added a V-bar underbody brace to provide high-rigidity to the chassis, achieved a 20% lower-friction in the steering rack, widened the front and rear track widths and stiffened the spring rates.
They reduced the front-end weight by 19-lbs by providing heavy-duty 15-inch front brakes, with high-performance 2-piece rotors like those on the Nissan GT-R.
Exclusive to the NISMO are its lightweight 19-inch RAYS® wheels – wider than those found on the Sport or Performance trims – with sticky Dunlop® SP Sport MAXX GT600 tires.
The rear spoiler has been redesigned to a 3-piece, an extended front nosepiece has been added, as well as a unique rear bumper and side sills. There’s also red exterior pinstriping and black “katana blade” roof trim.
In the cabin, you’ll find manual Recaro® bucket seats in leather and Alcantara, the steering wheel Alcantara-wrapped with a red center stripe, and unique red graphics on the digital gauge cluster, as well as a cooled magnetic wireless charger.
